Creating a custom building material

From the main dashboard select the "Buidling Materials" tile

You can the select which type of building material you would like to create (e.g wall) and whether you would like to create the U-value for the custom material or enter in if already known. For Windows and Doors you will only be able to enter in a known U-value.

if creating the U-value you will be presented with the screen below, click "Add Material" to beging building it up.

Select what material it is from the drop down menu and enter in the thickness of the material in mm, the thermal conductivity will prepoluate and then click save.

Continue to add materials required and once all are on, choose whether it is an external or internal wall fromt the top left, this will then calculate the U-value for the custom material and you will be able to save it to your dashboard and select it in your reports.

if you have selelcted add material with known U-value, you will only need to enter in a name for the material and the U-value
