Adding Dormers to a vaulted room

This is a current workaround because in June 2023 we will have a quick and easy feature to add dormers to any of the eight types of vaulted rooms.

In this example you have to use the split room feature.

So for a dormer window like the one below you can select the Type 6 vaulted room. But imagine its upside down. It's so our software can compute the surfaces as a dormer and not a room.

Start with a type 1 vaulted room, enter select the split room option. Then continue to enter the dimensions on the next step.

Once you have completed the bedroom 1 you can then move onto the Dormer.

Create a customer room name called 'Dormer'.

Enter the wall types as shown below.
